Great price for this textbook. I saved like 100+ USD buying the International Edition (Indian Edition) here than buying it new from the Johns Hopkins bookstore. This is the same book as the one in the bookstore, the pages are just thinner and the book is soft-covered and it is not in colour. The actual content written by the author is eh.

A stifling teaching style that overcomplicates even the simplest matters. The author is fond of using multitudes of variables that are scarcely defined, and neglecting to explain the important aspects of the problem-solving process. Little attention is given to the logic, and more to a highly redundant and nauseating notation.

Vital Beast
Chemical Engineering is difficult enough without having to work with a dry text. It would be nice to see applications in current use in place of 1840 era chemistry equations. It would also be nice to have the text explain material in the same manor as book questions so you did not have to reread the chapter to find the reference point.
