Emil Bock rediscovers the works of Christ without minimizing the difficulties

Emil Bock rediscovers the works of Christ without minimizing the difficulties. He brings together historical records and the geographical background of the Gospels. I usually re-read "The Three Years" by Emil Bock every Lent as it is a wonderful, in depth study of the life of Christ Jesus during the three years of his ministry, from his Baptism in the Jordon by John the Baptist and the Incarnation through His Death and Resurrection. As such, it provides a valuable, preparatory experience for the coming Festival of Easter.

Vobei
Emil Bock offers rich and insightful analysis of the the life of Christ jesus. If you have read or are interested in the Gospels and have not read his work, you have not understood the inner depth and significance of their content. This is a must read for anyone who is serious about a relationship with the Christ.

Akirg
Self explanatory title. Culled from Rudolf Steiners lectures about the 3 active years of
Christ before His death. Very esoteric.

Using clear, beautiful prose which is a pleasure to read, Emil Bock provides a maturing Christian with astonishing, well-founded and supported, original insights into the intellectual and spiritual milieu of ancient Palestine, of Christ's mission and purpose on the earth in taking on our human nature, the temptations, passion, and much more.

For those readers who are working on their own moral and spiritual development, striving, with an open mind, to understand and know themselves and the world in which we live more fully, and to grasp the significance of Christ's life upon earth for all of human kind's sake, this book is well worth studying.
