Honestly, l cant enough about this book. l was thinking what am l going to learn from a 99c kindle book, but boy was l wrong, this book is a classic, with the main premise being they is need to look for opportunity far away its right where you, around you there is acres of diamonds..read it memorize it

I had a choice of books to choose from in my college English class and I chose this one because of the subject matter, and I am glad I did. I made an A on my essay because it was so easy to relate to. If you like good stories all rolled up in one book about success then this is a great read. We could all use these concepts in our lives.

Nothing against 'Acres of Diamonds' since I have heard that it is fantastic and thus why I bought an audio CD to listen to it in my car - my issue is with the CD itself which does not play in my car stereo as other audio CDs easily do.

I suspect the reason for this is because it appears to be CD burned off of a computer rather than a professionally produced audio CD.

Disappointed to say the least.

This version, I give four stars because it is a scanned version. But it does have its charm and all of that. I bought the kindle format version and it is better, but this is a good historical record of the Conwell Acres of Diamonds lecture. For those enthusiasts that like old style paper books, this is your version, I say.

Those ignore history and 100+ texts like this book do it at their own peril. American society (individually and collectively) would benefit
tremendously by having this on the mandatory middle and high school reading lists.

We listened to the audio of this book and found it inspirational. My daughter first heard it when she was about 10. She loved it and has listened to it over and over - she can almost recite it. At 18 it is still her favorite. I bought her a hard copy for high school graduation and it is a book she treasures. There is so much to learn in it, if you know how to spot diamonds :-)

If I could give this book -5 stars, I would. As a native speaker I could not really tell what language this book is in. It looks like a google translate translation with random words still in English. Which is a shame, Amazon, because we trust you not to sell garbage. So this review is for you and not so much for the eager Bulgarian reader. There is already precious little in Bulgarian to choose from so this was extra disappointing. Shame on you!

Not quite done reading this book, but I like the spirit in which the writer puts forth. "You must first know the demand. You must first know what people need, and then invest yourself where you are most needed." He explains the simplicity of finding your own acre of diamonds. He inspires one into that moment of " I can do this." I felt empowered by his simple straight forward what are you waiting for attitude. No complicating plans to write up and follow, just a simple look at what people want!
