I reread Marie Kondo's magic of tidying up before I read this book. As my house is becoming what I want I am excited to extend hospitality.. This book gives recipes, practical advice and a reminder to begin hospitality with the family already at home!

Every woman should read this book.

This book felt like a bunch of lists. It was so hard to engage when everything is written in bullet points.

It's a nice book- I had just hoped for a little less "why" and a little more "how".

I love the Bible so to go through this book was a real treat! Do wish it had more practical application though. Many young people do not know how to even cook from scratch, use basic sewing techniques, how to clean and organize etc so I decided to teach a Hospitality class in my home! I used each chapter as a spring board to teach basic techniques over 8 weeks, once weekly sessions.
Very good insight and right on Biblically! Great resource! Did like many of the recipes in the back of each chapter as well.

It's all about "serving". This book is very helpful for one to become a humble servant, and enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone that has trouble being hospitable or who wants to better their joyful hospitality. God said we are to be servants.

this book is full of great information. It challenges you in many areas of carrying out hospitality. Filled with Bible references along with practical suggestions. I will keep this on my shelf as a reference and use it as a gift to new brides.

This is a great book. I thought I knew what hospitality was and that I was good at it, BEFORE I read this book! This book takes hospitality to a whole new level and gets our focus off ourselves and onto using our homes and resources to bless others and show them God's love.
It's a great book to use for a ladies small group study.

This is a well done work, balancing Biblical principles and practicle ideas. It is a good reminder and text for those who desire to follow a Biblical approach to demonstrating hospitality as God designed.
