by Matthew MacFadyen (Author). The book covers the rules and some basic tactics and then has one game examined to show some strategy.
by Matthew MacFadyen (Author). A great way to start out and see if you like the game. The next step would be to get Iwamoto's excellent "Go For Beginners" (rather meatier than the book here, and a superb book) or the series of books by Janice Kim. Then Ishi Press has a series of books, mostly by James Davies. If you do want to get more serious about the game you will certainly want to get a bigger and better set.

MacFadyen went on claim that buff male bodies are more to do with the actor than the character they’re playing, with too much focus on living up to a modern day stereotype. He continued: I remember when we did Warriors (a 1999 BBC drama about the conflict in former Yugoslavia), we were shooting with squaddies from the Royal Green Jackets – they were the real thing, they’d just come back from Bosnia. Vain: Matthew Macfadyen is not a fan of period drama six-packs. BBC. 2/2. Not impressed: Matthew MacFadyen thinks toning up is more about the actor than the role. Picture: Getty Images.
