The stories in this book can be divided into 2 categories, one is the stories told by the fairies and another is about the fairies themselves. They are in different fonts. My daughter is 5 and she can read the first category herself and enjoys the reading very much. But, she does not like to read the second category of stories mainly because of the font style.

We both enjoy the reading and love the drawings.

This is a good book of short stories for ages four and up. The illustrations are very detailed and the stories are funny with a little bit of an edge. We're actually on our second copy, my oldest daughter wore out the first.

oh my god... I didn't look inside the CD case, just until now.
When I opened the CD case, inside there was "Usborne Alice in Wonderland" CD...
The time has past now so, I can't return this item, but the product check is really poor!!!

Perfect! My 6 year old daughter adores this book, as do I. We've given it several times as gifts and everyone loves it. The illustrations are beautiful, the "morals" to the stories age-appropriate and subtle (and will be much appreciated by parents) and the framing story around the fairy tales themselves is imaginative and funny - buy this book for your 5-8 year old and you'll all be happy.
