After watching Oprah interview Beyonce', I noticed she gave her this book for her newborn. I got it for my 12month old, and she LOVES it! After just reading it three times, my baby predicted that the bear was in the boat. Each page shows an image of a bath item : ie boat, then u flip the flap to the side (which is made of sturdy thick cardboard) and a teddy bear is shown in the boat. Another page showed a toy tub, then under the flap was a frog covered in suds. At the end, they show all the bath toys as a recap. My baby loves this book. I completely recommend it. It's high quality, thick shiny cardboard pages have real images of toy items (not drawn). Get it!

Before I bought this product, I was thinking I would be able to read my daughter a book in the bathtub. This book is not waterproof. It is cute but it sits in the bathroom and I don't read it. If you are looking for a book for your baby to play with during bathtime, this book is not one you should get.
