Filled was the room with boys and girls–yes, literally filled; for they moved about so from chair to chair, from divan to sofa . We are going to the coast. Of course I’m coming, too, said Belle

Filled was the room with boys and girls–yes, literally filled; for they moved about so from chair to chair, from divan to sofa, from one side of the apartment to the other, now and then changing corners after the manner of the old-fashioned game of puss, that what they lacked in numbers they more than made up in activity. Of course I’m coming, too, said Belle. Stop it, Jack! she commanded, drawing her plump hand away from his brown palm. Behave yourself! Only, she went on, as the others ceased laughing, only sometimes the ocean seems so–so – .

True account of one individual, John Procter, who was a victim of sorts in the Salem witchcraft episode. If you have intense interest in the Salem trials, then it's probably worth reading. If you just enjoy general history pieces, I might skip it. Edited well, and capable of being read in one good afternoon. You must however put yourself in the frame of mind, this is 1692 that we are talking about, and ninety-five percent of the account is limited in scope and detail. And it's not the kind of society that you imagine today.

It depends on what you are expecting from the book as to whether it should be 5 or less stars. If you are looking for a book that, in its entirety, is about which land belonged to Procter, and where he was buried, this is the book for you. I think I could have managed to shrink it to two pages max.

Very interesting work on finding more information into where the location of the Procter farm was and where his remains are assumed to be located.

This is an interesting book on a what happen to a John Procter and his family and land after he was killed during the Salem Witch trials. I gave it a lower rating because it does not have the map included that the author keeps referencing when he is describing landmarks.

Edited: Amazon has attached this review to the wrong book if you are looking at, "The Motor Girls and the Waif from the Sea" (I have never read or downloaded this book). However it is the correct review for, "House of John Procter, Witchcraft Martyr, 1692", which it is also attached to.

All I can say is Timey-Whimey Wibbly-Wobbly.
