My 5 year old son loves this book, and has learned a lot from it, reading it almost every night and telling me things he's learned about planets and space exploration. I would say the interest level is probably 1st to 3rd grade level generally, but my son really likes it anyway.

I bought this book for my son's third grade penguins report. It is one of the few books that covers different types of penguins. The pictures were great, and the information was adequate for what he needed. Our neighbor ended up borrowing it to do his report on a different type of penguin, too.

I have a 3 and 5 year old and they love this book. I enjoy reading it with them and learning about insects. The pictures are excellent and the author does a great job keeping it interesting, fun and educational. I would recommend.

This is for my grandson and he will be delighted with the many detailed pictures of bugs throughout this book, plus the explanatory text. He is only 6 but very inquisitive and proactive in learning.

This is a great book. Very informative and well organized. My grandsons love penguins and this book provides colorful photos and information about all species of them.

My son learned about planets this year in school and he became totally addicted to learning about space and planets. I bought him this book so he'd enjoy reading, and it did help with that! He and I read it over and over again!

Super cute, we use it as a bedtime story for our 4 year old. We wanted to buy this book at the Monterey Bay Aquarium but didn't want to pay $14.00, it was much cheaper on Amazon! Beautiful book, great price :)

My three year old son loves it! Great images and cool facts on a variety of bugs and insects. A really good book for us to read and look at together.
