Lloyd Nicholas Trefethen FRS (born 30 August 1955) is a British mathematician, professor of numerical analysis and head of the Numerical Analysis Group at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. Trefethen was born 30 August 1955 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of mechanical engineer Lloyd M. Trefethen and codebreaker, poet, and English professor Florence Newman Trefethen.

I have my two wonderful daughter's Amanda Marie and Ryanne Marie. Then I met Christy and my path and focus became clear to me. If I was to enjoy my next chapter of life it was to be with her as we are cut from the same piece of material. They both live here in Maine not to far away. Meet Seedy Treefeather is a children's book for children of all ages. It is the story of a fun loving little gnome and his adventures in the forest. He loves to help animals, search for treasure and tell stories. Meet Seedy Treefeather is illustrated throughout with full color artwork. It is a beautiful book and a joy to read.

The package arrived on time. This is a wonderfully written tale. I won't go into detail for fear of ruining it. We sat down and read it and studied the pictures. they worked very well together. Made a great Birthday present.

My name is Jay Trefethen, and I'm the illustrator for this book. It was written by my cousin Amanda. She based the character of Seedy loosely on her father, Clint Trefethen. Workig on this book was a very personal experience for both of us, and I think the finished product is really something special. Please take a moment to use the 'look inside' feature to preview the book. It tells the story of a warm and fun loving little gnome who lives in the woods, helps animals and loves to tell stories. If you are looking for a unique and fun story to share with a young child, I don't think you could do better that Meet Seedy Treefeather.

This book was lovingly written and illustrated. I am the nephew of the incredible Clinton David Trefethen. He had such a unique view of the world and especially nature. The character of Seedy is so warm and touching. A fantastic read for children and those who are kids at heart. Illustrated wonderfully by Jay Trefethen. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to enjoy a welcoming and comforting children's book.

This book was written in memory of my younger brother, Clint, the original Seedy Treefeather. The book shows his love of nature and his unorthodox way of looking at the world. I know I am biased, but this book is on my top ten. Mandy's story and Jay's illustrations capture his essence perfectly.
