This book will appeal to individuals of different learning styles: auditory, tactile, or visual. The pages are thick, colorful, and amply illustrated. The biographical summary is only a couple paragraphs (so as to not overwhelm elementary students), but the vocabulary will not bore parents. There are a half-dozen illustrations, flaps, moving parts, or charts that each have a quick caption. The caption often contains interesting trivia. I bought this book for my 5-year-old son's first grade homeschool curriculum. We both enjoy perusing this book. It has a double page on every president up to Bush 43.

Got this to teach my daughter the Presidents . It has been a great resource. Lots of information about Presidents and First Ladies. I really liked that it is easy to read and packed with facts.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK. MAKES LEARNING FUN AND REALLY EDUCATIONAL.ABOUT THE PRESIDENTS, NOT TO MENTION ITS HISTORY NOW WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA. GOT THIS FOR MY SON BUT WHEN HIS GRANDMOTHER SEEN IT, I GOT HER ONE TOO. ALSO THE POP UP PAGES ARE GREAT

My mom bought this for my nephew who is 11. I have a 6 year old daughter and she loved it too. It has some interactive type of things, like lift the flaps and pull the tab to make things happen. Each president has two pages dedicated to his life and the highlights of his presidency. Each one has a small box highligting the term of his presidency, his birth date, the vice president, and first lady. I have learned so much from reading this book. My 6 yr old knows how to read and this book is challenging for her. It has lots of illustrations and gives just the right amount of information as to what was happening during those times. The last president is George Bush Jr. so it's up-to-date with the times. I thought this book was great for both boys and girls. It's not too detailed and gives important and interesting highlights. It's interesting, not dry, not too childish. It sparked my interest to dig further into American History. I'm a homeschooler and feel this is an excellent resource for American History. It is sturdy, with hard covers and sturdy metal double spiral bound. It will not fall apart easily. The cover has a nifty hallogram too.

I purchased this book for my children, ages 7 & 8 and found it be very educational for the entire family. Each president is given 2 pages. On those pages are the presidents year of service, a picture of themselves, a picture of the first lady, their party and fun-filled facts. This book is worth the money and is an invaluable tool in teaching children about American History.
