The book completely misses the difference between civilian and military courts
He is the author of Prisons under the Gavel: The Federal Court Takeover of Georgia Prisons. The book completely misses the difference between civilian and military courts. It is hopelessly lost in its discussion of individual goodness rather than the legal difficulties the crew encounters as they attempt to move through multiple jurisdictions. While this book focuses almost exclusively on The Next Generation, it does mention one or two episodes from Deep Space 9 and Voyager even though it is published in 2003, some three years after the end of both series. The book also attempts a legal feminist position that it cannot support.
