Oranges and Lemons; This Year, Next Year.

3 years ago3 years ag. My hero Jeanne Whitney and I talk about the steps and life after Roast Battle.

My hero Jeanne Whitney and I talk about the steps and life after Roast Battle. I've read the previous two books in this series. The first book was pretty good, I really disliked the second one, and I didn't like the way this book was written. If you've not read book one, you'll be thrown into this book with no background. If you make it to the end, you'll feel the book stops abruptly. Meaning you'll have to get the next book. Yes, I knew it was a series but just not well done.

Now, years later, with her father gone, Louise feels even more the odd one out. Obsessed with finding her birth mother, she distances herself from her family, hiding the truth of her flailing acting career from them, and spitefully makes trouble for Karen whenever the opportunity arises

Now, years later, with her father gone, Louise feels even more the odd one out. Obsessed with finding her birth mother, she distances herself from her family, hiding the truth of her flailing acting career from them, and spitefully makes trouble for Karen whenever the opportunity arises. Karen has her own family problems to deal with – she wants to return to her career as a teacher after baby Peter is born, but her husband Simon has other ideas. Susan longs to see her girls reconciled and to pick up the threads of her own life again.

Loved this book! l was particularly impressed with author's ability to clearly represent so many characters . l generally dont care for
lengthy books because they tend to drag at frequent intervals. This story moved at a good pace throughout. Certainly kept reader's attention from beginning to end.
l was not familiar with this author
but certainly will keep an eye out for more of her books. Very good read.

A good read in the tradition of Catherine Cookson. I enjoyed everything, but the title. Somehow just didn't seem right. Why I don't know, but the story is good and well written. I highly reccommend.

This was a long story but very well written. The characters were very well developed. The story spans the lifetime of Maryan, she had a child out of wedlock but managed to live an interesting life. Her strength and determination make for a fascinating novel.

A very good read, believable and colorful characters and an interesting story plot. It's a bit wordy, but not over-much.

Kupidon
I cared about these characters. I loved Sam. Everyone needs a Sam in their lives. Still, for some reason I felt the pace of the action was too slow about 60 percent of the way into the book. Then, it did pick up again.

Gann
Two wars, two main families of different class. The bridge of building he classes love. The hurt of a new generation not willing to join them and the loss off war. A wonderful story wound together.

Good book well written. Enjoyed very much.

I JUST COULD NOT GET INTO IT
