It was fascinating how they drew energy from not only sexual fantasy, but from the act itself. What a night! Lizzie felt a pleasant ache this afternoon, but Reiah and Seri were flat-out exhausted, in spite of the sexual energy.

Ships from and sold by solomonsminebooks. She writes a good book and her continuations are excellent. I would recommend her books to those that especially like the Wolf Tales series.

Dream Unchained book.

I bit my nails in suspense I cried and then I was thrilled. Now I am very upset where is the next one I cannot wait to see what happens next. I cannot tell you all the characters but I want to know what's going to happen with Mac and Dink and Zianne, with Morgan Kiera, Lizzie, Cam, Bolt, all of them. I am waiting with bated breathe for the next book. You will not be sorry this is a great book. You will be sorry if you miss out on the amazing series.

Loved her creativity in the first book and how she carried through to this book. Douglas's characters become so real to the reader. I hate getting to the end of the book knowing I won't have more to read and learn about these people.

Mac Dugan and his group of Dream Catchers are just hours away from putting their rescue mission into action when danger from an old enemy puts that mission in danger of not happening. The Nyrians are ready to do their part to help themselves and also help the team from this secondary danger that could threaten outcome of the final rescue of the soul stone of the woman that Mac loves - Zianne. The very reason behind the Dream Catchers and Mac's determination to fulfill the promise made so long ago.

As each hour goes by the tension is becoming stronger, the danger that much more real and the discoveries of just what the mind can do all but overwhelms and thrills the team at turns. Events both on Earth and off of it are changing the timetable and role assignments and yet the team is still determined to save both the Earth and the Nyrians from the creatures that would destroy everything. Passion is turning into love for several members of the team and it's going to be that love that will help them all through the endless night that approaches. When morning comes and the smoke is gone, what will have survived the night? The team, the Nyrians, the group fighting against them and the world all have a fifty-fifty shot at seeing the sun rise one more time.

Dream Unchained is not only an erotic continuation of a mission to not only save the world but to also save the last members of a race who were only guilty of curiosity and trusting the wrong people and paid for it many, many times over. I would love to tell you more, but anything else would give just too much away and destroy the same feelings that I had while reading. Watching as the group worked to put their mission into action while trying to keep an earthly enemy at bay had me flipping the pages as fast as I could and still be able to comprehend what I was reading. The tense filled suspense was only equaled by the erotic dreams and then reality that each member of the group came to feel. The final battles had me on the edge of my seat on whether characters I had come to love would make it out okay and just what would happen when the world discovered what was really going on.

First off I have to thank Ms. Douglas for keeping her promise to me before I go any farther. I was told that she would get me off the cliff that I had been hanging on by my fingernails after finishing the previous book. Man did she! I was thrown off that cliff, fell with abandon and have no regrets about any of it. The only thing I'm sorry about is that this is the last time I will see the unique group of new and old friends who composed the Dream Catchers and those that helped save the day. However, I know that I can always pick them back up and relive all the feelings all over again.

Heck yes, I am Joyfully Recommending Dream Unchained as a must read, an instant favorite and one hot series that I swear is smoking on my shelves as I write this.

Jo for Joyfully Reviewed

I must admit that my first impression of Dream Unchained was not as favorable as that of its predecessors. Getting into Unchained was no easy feat. The beginning seemed super slow to me, perhaps because so much of the dialogue and description was dedicated to updating readers who hadn't read the first two books. While I understand Douglas' desire to make sure her readers are all on the same page, it became monotonous for this reader and stilted the usual well-paced movement of the narrative. I find that with multiple-book series, it's intriguing when author's don't recap past events in full; give me a hint and it forces me to go back and read the earlier books of the series. With Dream Unchained that is wholly unnecessary and a bit maddening. I kept wanting to yell, "Get on with it!"

Having said all of that, Dream Unchained is a book well worth reading. Once you get to the midpoint, the narrative picks up to Douglas' usual swift pace and the story holds some interesting surprises and more thoughtful insights into love, humanity, and identity. In the vein of classic Science Fiction and Fantasy, Douglas presents a critique about the future of humanity that deserves examination. Questions like: What is it that we seek in the stars? What is it that we value on Earth? How do we reconcile our mundane actions and beliefs with our greater aspirations?

The relationships, interactions, and connections that Douglas creates in this unusual series are challenging. The characters are forced to face themselves in ways that are uncomfortable, unexpected, and difficult for most of us. To recognize the defense mechanisms we erect to keep ourselves from pain and disappointment is a hard task. It requires that we examine the things that make us want to give up or run away. Dream Catchers is a great deal more than either erotica or romance. There is an amazing depth that Douglas is able to reach because of the unfettered exploration of sexual desire and the interaction, whether acknowledged or not, between the physical, mental and emotional. I'm a fan, and I believe the hard work is well worth it. Dive in to these dreams and awake renewed.
