Being a longtime fan of WWII genre, I was terribly disappointed with this book. It had a lot of potential, if it could have held my attention more. I was more than a little disgusted with the overall theme of sex that shaded every aspect of the story. I have nothing against romance or sex thrown into the mix, but the characters were obsessed with sex, and it seemed could barely draw breath without obsessive thoughts or overtures of sex taking control. Very weak plot and characters. Author seemed to rely on, you guessed it, sex to carry the very flimsy story. As another reviewer mentioned, certain aspects did not align with the period setting, such as the 747, and references to Dirty Harry. I was prepared to overlook that in lieu of a good story, but it really was more than just a couple of blunders with the timing, it was glaringly repetitive. Generally, a waste of time.

I found this to be an interesting story. It started off pretty slow and took too long to develop, but once it got moving it was fast-paced and interesting. Like some other reviewers, I couldn't help but notice some time frame errors. Events and sometimes objects that either hadn't happened yet or weren't developed yet at the time were mentioned or used in the story. One that caught my attention was one of the character's frequent use of a Desert Eagle pistol. The Desert Eagle wasn't even developed until the 1980's and was not available for use in the story's time frame of 1967. All in all, I enjoyed the story and would recommend the book.

This was a really good read that kept me turning pages. I don't normally read books about the Nazis but this was definitely not the run-of-the-mill Nazi thriller that I expected. The plot was refreshingly different and the story line kept me wondering. It was well-written and edited and I had no trouble relating to the characters. I read the other reviews that nitpick on historical errors. I must confess, I was so engrossed in the story that any historical errors didn't register and I think that's the whole point. This is a novel, after all, not a factual account, and novels should be read for the enjoyment of being absorbed in a fantasy. I think it was very well done.

This book was good enough to make me research the author to see what other enjoyable reads he might have created. I found several documentaries but no other fiction. However, this book seemed well researched and held my interest throughout. The end was a bit weak but acceptable. All in all, a good read.

One character talks of having his Dirty Harry gun and loving Clint Eastwood in late1966, when the first movie was not made until 1971. Another talks of Vietnam war,as if it's long dead history in 1967 these flaws ruined the book.

DrayLOVE
Well,I thought this was going to be the usual, but I was pleasantly surprised. A great read, good plot that left you turning the pages as fast as you could. I recommend this one.

Kison
Book borrowed on ideas from Boys in the Band regarding propagation of Nazism in modern day times. Good detail but implausible ending. Author should check his timeline when referring to certain events and movie characters such as Dirty Harry whose character appeared for the first time in movies four years later than the mention of him in the timeline of the story. Also mention of terrorism in the air but he was about 5 years too early using that scenario. An ok read

This book reminded me of the James Bond books that I read in the 1960s. I enjoyed this novel will likely look for others from this author.
