Paperback: 192 pages. A resource book aimed using encouraging EFL teachers in ways to use poetry in the classroom.

Paperback: 192 pages. Publisher: Cambridge University Press (November 24, 1989). ISBN-13: 978-0521312400. By and large, I bought this book for the activity given in it that I know will work in the EFL classroom. This activity gives two variations on the Tennyson poem, The Eagle, and asks students to decide which is the original. It's a great idea, and works not least because of Maley and Duff's brilliance in the alternatives they have created.

Numerous ideas on the use of poetry to promote discussion and creative composition are included within a rich collection of poems and techniques geared to improving comprehension, appreciation and enjoyment. The selections can be used at any level starting from lower-intermediate
