Even with all that, she moved with the same damn stuck-up prissiness as when he’d seen her that first time nineteen years ago, parading her stuck-up prissy poodle with a rhinestone collar all over town. Quaid had given an appreciative wolf whistle, she’d given him a kiss-my-ass look, and since he was fifteen and horny and she twenty-two and a fox, he would have been happy to oblige.

Sea with the Coast Guard he never has time to think of anything else.

She didn’t want to wake anyone, least not yet. Rory O’Fallen always slept with the bedroom windows open, something she knew first hand. Sea with the Coast Guard he never has time to think of anything else. I’ll hire a PI to find Mimi, get her back and straighten things out before any of them get wind of what’s going on. A perfect cover.

Dianne Castell's book deserves top shelf in any keeper bookcase. Looking forward to the next O'Fallon's story. TIL THERE WAS U is the first book in Dianne Castell's FOUR O'FALLONS AND A BABY series.

Dianne Castell is the author of numerous romance novels. Romance in general is Castell's passion, be it in the movies she views or the books she reads, so writing about romance seemed a natural next step. Meanwhile, younger man Quaid O'Fallon returns home from the Coast Guard and sets about putting Cynthia's broken heart back together.

When Rory O'Fallon found a beautiful baby girl on his front porch it was just the beginning of Dianne Castell's captivating trilogy about the strong, loyal O'Fallon men of the Mississippi River. Now, the story that began in 'Til There Was U and continued with The Way U Look Tonight comes full circle. . .because bad boy Quaid O'Fallon is finally coming home. . . Quaid Everybody in Fallon's Landing remembers Quaid O'Fallon as the street-tough kid adopted by the tight-knit clan and made into one of their own. Quaid's spent the last few years working in the Coast Guard Search and Rescue in Alaska, but he's still got a hint of danger humming under the surface--and a heart fiercely loyal to the man who saved him, Rory O'Fallon. That's why he had to come back home. What he doesn't expect is to run into the only person who's ever cracked his armor, Cynthia James. His attraction to the single mom has lasted years even though they're worlds apart. She loves New York; he loves the River. She's Vogue; he's Field & Stream. She designs beautiful clothes; his job is fishing people out of dangerous waters. He may be a rough-and-tumble river man, but he's not about to let a second chance at his dream woman get away. . . Cynthia came home to Fallon's Landing in defeat after her smooth-talking husband ran her clothing business into the ground and left her with their son to raise. The last thing she needs is another man in her life, no matter how incredibly tempting he is. But Quaid's always been a fascination to her. She's wondered what those strong arms would feel like wrapped around her, or what ways a man that bold might have of pleasing a woman. He's all wrong for her, but once she shuts out the rest of the world and tastes Quaid's hungry kisses, all she can think about is just how right he feels. . .

When Quaid O'Fallon learns of trouble at home involving his baby half-sister and her missing mother, he quickly abandons his Coast Guard job and without a backward glance, returns to Fallon's Landing to be with his father. Quaid was cruelly neglected as a child, stubbornly surviving an abusive environment, he was fortunate enough to be adopted by Rory O'Fallon who raised him as one of his own.

Quaid's first night at home finds him face to face with Cynthia Landon James, a snobby little rich girl who, being a few years older and the stuff of a young boy's dreams, never gave Quaid the time of day. Now she too has returned home, albeit under different circumstances. Cynthia has divorced the cheating husband who ran her successful clothing design business into the ground, resulting in her and their eight year old son, Lawrence, being left with absolutely nothing. Cynthia returns to her mother's home-turned-B&B, shocked to find her gorgeous childhood home looking more than a little shabby, and her mother imbibing uncharacteristic quantities of liquor. Cynthia has sworn off men - all men - and is determined to raise Lawrence on her own.

Passions quickly flare between Quaid and Cynthia, and each and every time they are together, Cynthia insists that it has to be the last time. Quaid feels differently and while he has his hands full with the mystery of his father's missing lover, the relationship woes of a dear family friend, and running his father's business, all he truly wants his hands full of is Cynthia. He just can't get enough of her and while he is determined to have more than just a brief fling, convincing her that they could have much more may prove to be the most difficult of all of the tasks in front of him.

Cynthia stands up for herself, for Quaid, and for her friends in town, proving herself to be a strongly independent woman, and not just the snooty bit of fluff that everyone remembers. Cynthia's son, Lawrence, visibly grows into a strong young man under the guidance of Quaid, and the three of them make a lovely family. Secondary characters, their relationships, heartaches and motives are vital to Cynthia and Quaid's story.

I'LL BE SEEING U sadly concludes the story of Dianne Castell's O'Fallons. It has been great fun reading this entertaining series, and this final book provides a satisfying ending, tying all loose ends up in a tidy little bow. While I will miss this heartwarming family, I look forward to Dianne's next release.

The book we have been waiting for is finally here. The final book in the O'Fallon's trilogy is about to come out, which is great but at the same time I hate to see the end of the series.

Quaid O'Fallon, the street kid that Rory adopted and made his own had to come home to Fallons Landing when he found out there was trouble brewing around his father, new little sister Bonnie and the missing mother. Quaid had been in Alaska for years with the Coast Guard Search and Rescue, but family comes first and he has to help his family out so he quits his job and comes home. Cynthia Landon James has found her way home, with her eight year old son Lawrence, after a messy divorce where her ex-husband has taken everything - her fashion design business, bank accounts - leaving her with nothing to show for her successful years in New York. Things are not the way she remembers them and she cannot believe the way things have gone since she was away. Cynthia has sworn off all men, they are just bad karma for her. Quaid has never forgotten the one woman, who even in his younger years, had set his heart a pumping but who never gave him the time of day back then because of the difference in their social standing. Whenever these two get close to one another there is enough heat generated that it is like a spark to dry wood igniting a full fledge fire. There are problems to overcome, one being age difference, but Quaid is not going to let anything stand in his way this time around. Readers are in for a treat as we watch Quaid and Cynthia coming to terms with their respective demons. The secondary characters only heighten and add to the suspense as the race against time, to find Bonnie's mother before the ruthless people that are out to silence her do, is fast running out. The reader is taken on an emotional ride in this story, and Dianne has done a super job of tying up all the ends as well as delivering a terrific heart warming read.

If you have never read a story from Dianne, you certainly cannot go wrong with this series, this book in particular delivers romance, suspense and the feeling of family bonds that tie. I recommend it and look forward to more books in the future from Dianne as she is just getting better and better at weaving stories for her readers.

Quaid O'Fallon is the bad boy of the family. Adopted by patriarch Rory O'Fallon when he was a troubled kid, Quaid has since grown into a responsible young man, yet inside still lurks the heart of that hurt little boy. Hearing his family is in trouble, he leaves his job with the Coast Guard to help those who have been there for him.

On his first night back, he runs into the woman he's never been able to forget - Cynthia (Landon) James. Snooty and several years older than him, Cynthia has always turned him on, despite thinking she's better than everyone else. Just as stubborn as ever, Cynthia refuses his assistance, but she's got her son Lawrence to think about, and sometimes you have to let go of your pride. Even when it's the only thing holding her back from running to Quaid O'Fallon's arms.

Together they try and solve a mystery involving Rory and his baby girl Bonnie while raising her amazing son and consoling friends going through their own relationship woes. Quaid proves to be the man Cynthia wants in her life, helping to raise her child, and Cynthia becomes the woman of Quaid's dreams. Now she just has to convince him that she really loves him, and doesn't just need him, and Quaid has to believe he's worthy of her love.

It's sad to say good-bye to the O'Fallon clan and their friends. This small town of Tennessee is a breath of fresh air, and the townspeople are loyal and quirky - definitely the kind of people you wished lived in a small town. Dianne Castell writes with lots of spunky humor and sass, and I found myself grinning and laughing out loud several times. Ms. Castell is an auto-buy for me.
