The Rev. Ruth Wilcox, head minister of a Chicago church, has just about adjusted to life on her own, years after her husband, Daniel, left her. But Daniel suddenly re-enters her life when his second wife spurns him, leaving him to care for their three sons. Ruth's got enough on her plate, what with her mother's Alzheimer's, her best friend's cancer diagnosis, her grown children's dramas. . .and a charming parishioner who's caught her eye. Also, she can't shake the feeling that something is fishy with Daniel. Still, she's long dreamed of reconciling with her first love, and his kids desperately need discipline and spiritual nurturing. In Michelle Larks' Letting Misery Go, Ruth's faith gives her the strength to face a life-altering choice.
I really enjoyed this follow up to the first book (Keeping Misery Company). This answered alot of questions from the first book and I was glad to see that the charaters came back and some new ones appear. This was a great read and it kept me reading all the time that I had it. The book was excellent. May looking for a part three?

This book is Part 2, of a Series. I enjoyed it tremendously. It was a page turner. I dropped everything and completed it in four hours. I loved everything about it. I believe that was the final series, but it does have potential for another one. However, I liked the way it ended.

The story realistically reveals the blessings in store for us (and the characters) if we follow God's path. As a fictional reminder of the fact that God's time is not always our time...this story illustrates that He is always on time!

I read this book because I had read the 1st sequel so I read the 2nd portion of the book. I enjoyed the book it had a few interesting perks. Also remember that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

This book is very clean and can be read by everyone. It is very difficult to find christian fiction without the cursing and sexual undertones. But this book does a good job of keeping it clean.

Light out of Fildon
I have part I Keeping Misery Company. This book was simply amazing! Both books would make a great gift for anyone who needs to be encouraged throgh the storms of life.

I read Keeping Miesery Company last year and was glad I found the sequel, Letting Misery Go. Good job Michelle Larks, keep them coming.

Enjoyed the story. It's nice to find good Christian fiction. The characters were believable and the story flowed well. I would recommend this book.
