This book is an easy read and a useful tool to either reaffirm already acquired information or learn how to better identify systemic injuries. To better understand the information, it is beneficial to have some background in anatomy & physiology and/or orthopedic assessment. The definition and main points of each disease, disorder or injury are provided in short concise paragraphs, along the lines of a reference book, so the readers are not overwhelmed. Additionally, terms that might not be easily understood are defined or available in the glossary. Pictures are very helpful, simple, and labeled for better understanding. Charts are also provided which consolidate the information (e.g. signs and symptoms of specific injuries, functions of organs, cells, etc.).
