This was required for a seminar I took in college. I didn't feel it was totally relevant to today's society, but there was some helpful information in it.

I first read this book many years ago. It changed my life in how I viewed other women and my relationship with women. I had never really trusted women. In this book I learned why that was and how it did not serve me or them to feel that way. To a large degree, this book took things I thought of as an ordinary part of life, and exposed the underlying reasons and the insidious webs these long held beliefs created.

I thank the author for helping me see things from a perspective that feels more true and more self-serving than the system I grew up in. I have learned that women are my friends and together we can be amazing allies, not competition or a threat.

Invaluable!
