Quite simply, I am convinced that Heideggers philosophy is more interesting than that and certainly more interesting than what was on offer from contemporaries such as Jnger and Spengler. Hence, while I can appreciate the importance of comparing Heideggers views on technology with Spenglers views in Man and Technics, for example, I simply cannot see how one could suppose that the texts reduce to each other in anything more than superficial respects.
