I bought this for my peds class and it was really helpful especially if your trying to do safe ranges.. Ugh.. It had all the info I needed to do the calculations.. Most use Harriet Lane.. This was cheaper had all same info plus.. If you can find it cheap.. Or used .. Would totally recommend I rarely buy books new anymore

This is the Gold Standard of pediatric dosing. Not only provides common formulations but with newer editions I have been surprised to find comments on the studies done to determine dosing or usefulness in treatment. Buy 3, 1 for your nurse, 1 for your office and 1 for those home calls.

Scoreboard Bleeding
a very useful tool for pediatric clinical practice. Each drug is explained very extensively with available formulations, dosages, pharmacokinetic interaction. At the end of each drug datasheet there are helpful references.

The corners were very bent. Even a little water damage. I wish the description was more specific.

My daughter needed this book for a course she was taking in nursing school and saw the description as NEW. When it arrived, it was wrapped in a brown paper bag with a hand-written address on the package. Upon opening this package, we found that the book was USED! So used as the corners were dog-eared and there were passages that had been highlighted. What a CHEAT this peRson was. I would have returned it but she HAD to have it right then. THE ONLY REASON I GAVE THEM 1 STAR IS BECAUSE I COULDN'T LEAVE IT BLACK.

The drug book has all the information required for students to look up pediatric medications and provide safe medication administration to their patients.

I like the new format of this book. It is a little bigger and easier to use. The content is always good.
