Can't go wrong. The seriously mentally ill do not change. However the treatments do, so having a history of information regarding past treatments is very valuable.

Although published in 1996, this book remains relevant and useful today. Many of the contributors are pioneers in the development of treatment and rehabilitation programs for persons with severe and persistent mental illness. Viewing these complex issues in a broad context of community and family life, the authors provide practical suggestions for improving systems of care. It is too bad books like this are rarely available in digital format or print-on-demand, but used copies and library copies may be available.
