I had to purchase and read this book for a class I am taking. It is extremely boring and very descriptive in regards to history. I did not think it was necessary to know the whole life story of some of the people written about in the book, it distracts from the point of the book which is to talk about how these people have impacted public administration. I also felt that I was re-reading the same points several times just stated in a different way.

The seller was awesome and the price was right, but the product is a textbook for a required graduate level class. I can't exactly say it's what I'd like to be reading right about now.

The price was affordable the book was not new but it served the purpose that I need it for, my last class. If you need to buy back as used let me know

Never received the book, and never heard back from Amazon Daily Deal customer service. Here is the last interaction, to which I never received a response:
Dear Andy,

Thank you for the note, but before I consider removing or making additional comments, I must know where to direct my disappointment. Please let me know what "My attempts to track down this package with the shipping carrier did not produce any results," means?

From a customer service standpoint:1) I was never informed that there was an issue until I contacted Daily Deal/Amazon, 2) when I did receive notice that someone would look into it and get back with me... they never did... which required an additional inquiry on my part. 3) Now, I am being informed that the issue belongs with the shipping carrier, I think.

Simply refunding the money would be a good start.

I am now a month and a half into class without a text book. Oddly enough the course is on bureaucracies', loosely defined as inefficient machinelike organizations. Could you please provide me with the tracking number given? The fact that the book is not available makes me wonder if it was ever sent.

Anyways, I am disappointed and would appreciate some more information so that I can accurately direct my additional comments.

Thank you,

Ryan

This book concisely summarizes the scholars of public administration - about 20 pages per scholar. These authors made a much more pleasant experience in their summaries versus reading the scholars original works.
