Bungalow Nation book. Part history book, part coffee table book, and part interior design/antique catalog with lots of name dropping, this book was enjoyable for perusing with a cup of coffee. I found the 'blurbs' on each house to be a bit choppy and disjointed.

the book is great,lots of information and beautiful photos. i also was able to spot my sideboard in one photo and find out from what year it was made. this book is a must have and it is priced affordably.

Several years ago I had the chance for a college geography class to write a paper on craftsman/bungalow style homes in America. This book is what I based much of my research on. The color pictures are simply stunning - from several regions throughout the US, including California, Seattle, and even Minnesota. The photographs from the inside of the homes showed the rich textures of the wood cabinetry, floors, simply beautiful woodwork, brick fireplaces, stained glass cabinet doors, and so forth. It would be suitable as a coffee table book or one to use in your own personal library.
