Brooks palmer, clock collector. His A Treasury of American Clocks, 1967, is in its fifth printing. His first large book, The Book of American Clocks, published by the Macmillan Company in 1950, is now it its 11th printing. Mr. Palmer also had contributed any articles to encyclopedias and magazines. He was a graduate of Dartmouth College. During his insurance career he had served as president of the Life Supervisors of New York City. He was also a former director of the Humane Society of New York. Palmer is survived by his widow, the former Dyna G. Longmire, and two sisters, Elisabeth and Mrs. Rosemond Blaney.
