I was hoping this would show references on how to do certain spells and such. It is literally an encyclopedia thought, so it's a pretty good reference to have, with some very interesting older graphics.

Note that the original version was published in 1960 and the only difference is that todays publication dose not have the pictures, charts and etc. in it. But it is the some and without second thought worth while having for an reference book.

This is the venerable classic in respectful, solid reproduction. Count on the 1994 hardcover (Aqua). There are at least 1/2 dozen Occult Encyclopedia / - pedia out there. And there is google. There was only one Lewis Spence and this is one of his great works. Nice big hardcover like is found in a Sorcerer's Laboratory. A family treasure that will last decades and actually retain value if in good condition.

If you are interested in understanding occult, this is the final WORD on words / phrases / names / and even historical groups.
