A masterful job of recreating biblical times. Was great,I felt I was walking with Jesus. com User, July 10, 1999. This was a most inspiring novel. Now I want to read "The Three from Galilee". Quite possibly the greatest book I've ever read. com User, December 13, 1997.

Completing the novelistic retelling of Christ's life the author here recounts Christ's life from the beginning of his ministry to his crucifixion

This is the third book of a trilogy. It is not necessary to read all three to enjoy this book, but there is such a rich character development that it's worth it to read them all. This may have been written decades ago but the story never gets old. Marjorie Holmes does a great job of reminding the reader that Jesus was human. Rated PG13

Great reading for the new Believer. Wife read it and loved it so much she gave this one to a friend who in turn did the same.

It was a joy to discover recently that Marjorie Holmes had written the third book in this brilliant series. The first two books - Two from Galilee & Three from Galilee - have been favourites of ours for years. This one would have been more difficult to write as the author would have had to stick to Scripture more than she needed to do in the earlier two books, where she was able to use some very creative imagination about the early life of Jesus Christ.
The book is a superb retelling of the ministry of Jesus Christ. Writing incredibly creatively, she weaves different characters, such as Peter's wife, into the narrative, while always remaining true to the scriptural account.
I am not one to cry, but as I worked my way through those last days leading up to the crucifxion, tears were running down my cheeks! It is that powerful.
Once finished, my instinct was to try to find a way to contact the author to commend her on her skill in bringing this story to life. Sadly, I discovered she had died around 10 years ago. But what a legacy she has left.

Loved all 3 books in this trilogy. Marjorie Holmes helped you to contact with the personalities of all the biblical figures. The places and events could be pictured so well in her descriptions. Will read the series again!!

It's in pretty good shape but smells a little musty. Put in bag with scented dryer sheets. That should help. Fast delivery!

It's all about Jesus. We tend to forget He became a flesh and blood man. While fictitious, it is an excellent read.

This is a book that brings the Messiah into our home, especially as we approach the Lent and Easter Seasons. I had read this several years ago and donated it to our church. However, I thought it was a good time to reread it an add it to our library at home.
