i first played chrono trigger at a friend's house and it rocked. i'm serious. then i found out it won 2nd place in EGM's '96 buyer's guide "game of the year".(it almost won #1 but twisted metal won by a hair.) it also won titles like "best music on a cart" and "best overall RPG" But,if you asked me, its the best game ever (so far) and its rumored that a Chrono Trigger 2 is coming out... anyway,if you've played the game, you know that this book's gotta be goood.

Chrono Trigger is the greatest game ever made, and many will agree with that. It is better than any other RPG out there, even beautiful games such as Final Fantasy 7 & 8. It is going to be rereleased on Playstation by the way, with new anime sequences! But the best part of the game is beating it on your own. LONG LIVE CHRONO TRIGGER!

Chrono Trigger is an awesome RPG. It's definitely the best game ever, if not one of them. Buying a guide to the game is like reading a detailed review of the plot of a good movie AND being told how to watch it. Play the game, by all means, but play it your way and play it using your skill.

I have played this game and it is very cool it has great graphics and it has an overall cool storyline it is very difficut too.

It's a fairly easy title to beat, so I dont see much value in buying the book in order to win... ...However, if you like anime, and are curious to see the characters in full color photos and actions scenes, then get the book. The pictures themselves are remarkable enough to warrant the purchase of this title.

This game is key. I have yet to play another game this well made. I strongly recomend you play the game on your own first though and get the book only after you beat the game, that way you can find the items you missed during your first adventure.

Look, it's a waste to buy the strategy guide, BradyGames is a true spoiler when it comes to strategy guides. There are many sites out there that will give you what you need, if I were to buy it at all, I would make a profit and auction it on another site.
note: my review has nothing to do with the game itself, Chrono Trigger is one of the best rpg's ever.

I first played this game when I borrowed it from a friend and it was the best RPG I have ever seen! I used the walkthrough book to help me along and the game just kept getting better! Everyone should try this game and see how fun it really is! Although it is hard to get the game and book now it's still worth looking for!
