I loved this book! I was immediately drawn in and was anxious to turn each page. The author did a wonderful job weaving this story. Lots of detail but not so much as to get lost. Lots of surprises! Must read! Would make a terrific movie!

A definate must read! I had a hard time putting this book down. Draws you in from the beginning. New author with a promising future. This first installment of the tales of Librarian turned stolen art recovery agent Julie Simms leaves me anxiously awaiting her next adventure. Mrs. Friend does an excellent job of making her characters believeable. Seemingly average people leading double lives filled with danger and intrigue. But enough of my rambling, get this book and find out for yourself just how Red Hot this new author is!

I really enjoyed this book. I was interested right from the start. The author brought me right into the world of art and intrigue. I read the book quickly and then was disappointed that it was over and now I to wait for Ms. Friend to write something else. I was very impressed for a first time author.

The description of event and people made me think that the story really happened and i was kept guessing right up until the end.

Also could NOT put this book down until discovering the ending. Exceptionally well written for a first-time author. Her descriptive adjectives were perfect. Am awaiting her second book - a MUST buy for me.
