Alex Delaware – Book 7. By Jonathan Kellerman. To my son, Jesse, a gentleman and a scholar.

Alex Delaware – Book 7. The room was ten by twelve, with institutional-beige walls relieved by bracket shelves filled with books and journals, a couple of Miró posters, and one cloudy window with an eastern view. Beyond the glint of car-tops, the peaks of the Hollywood hills seemed to be dissolving into a broth of billboards and smog.

Devil's Waltz (Alex Delaware) Mass Market Paperback – December 2, 2003. by. Jonathan Kellerman (Author). Kellerman spent way too much time 'waltzing' back and forth with amazing array tof possible candidates for who done it. After a while I started to feel like I was less and less invested in knowing at all and finally had to admit that I really didn't care who was poisoning the poor kid. I seriously contemplated throwing in the towel and moving on to another book, but alas, I hate to 'not finish' what I start, so I persevered.

By: Jonathan Kellerman. It was a place of fear and myth, home of miracles and the worst kind of failure. I'd spent a quarter of my life there, learning to deal with the rhythm, the madness, the starched whiteness of it all. Five years' absence had turned me into a stranger, and as I entered the lobby anxiety tickled my belly. Glass doors, black granite floors, high, concave travertine walls advertising the names of dead benefactors. Glossy depot for an unguided tour of uncertainty. Spring, outside, but in here time had a different meaning.

It's a living hell ...Twenty-one-month-old Cassie Jones has spent most of her short life in and out of Paediatrics Hospital. Cassie is persistently, seriously ill and when no amount of testing can identify the cause, her doctor is lead to a disturbing diagnosis - Cassie's mother could be making her daughter deliberately sick. Child psychologist Alex Delaware is brought in to make an independent assessment of the Jones family. But Alex's attempts to find the answers and save a young girl's life will reveal a terrifying circle of corruption, abuse and murderous hatred.

Уou ll never walk alone
This was definitely NOT my favorite Alex Delaware story. The ending was helpfully credible but never removed my overall dissatisfaction with a tedious story.

I have read many of Kellerman's "Alex Delaware" novels, and they are always a great read. The character development is excellent, and the stories never fail to hook me and keep me reading for hours. There are a few recurring characters that I always look forward to finding in the story.

I love mystery novels, and Kellerman's are wonderful.

The first half of this book, maybe the first 2/3's, is a total editorial waste that should not have been published. The final 1/3 is typical Alex Delaware and worth the effort of getting through the preceding wasteland.

Hurus
Really enjoyed this Alex Delaware book!! It moved along at a reasonable pace, there weren't too many characters for me to keep straight (that's sometimes an issue!!) and it really pulled me in. The Munchhausen's issue was Interesting, I've never read much about it. I love the main characters; Robin, Alex and Milo. It ended too soon, I don't know what I'll read next????

Wrathshaper
Ever a fan of Dr. Alex Delaware, I was not disappointed in this well - written novel. Through all kinds of misdirection and unplowed ground, Kellerman takes his reader on a rollercoaster ride of gigantic proportions. One thing I know from reading the Delaware novels, I would NEVER want to live in Los Angeles!

This book simply put is a good read. Whenever they would develop a character they were creating a new suspect. I believe this constant suspicion was fueled by the depravity of the crime. However the book also shows the problems cops authority figures when tunnel vision clouds ones judgment. The only possible complaint I have pertaining to this novel is it was fifty pages too long.

I keep wanting to be able to do a bad review of one of Kellerman's books but will have to wait. As usual I couldn't stay away from this one-reading when I should have been doing other things and racing to the end. I love Alex and Milo. My only complaint is I wish I'd reread his books in order.

Well....I’ve been reading Jonathan Kellerman for many years. I think Alex Delaware is a fantastic memorable character. As always...all of Kellerman’s novels are first rate, 5 stars. Devil’s Waltz was a compelling, interesting story that has a subject that’s relevant in the past and today. The characters were believable. I recommend this book to anyone that’s looking for an excellent read.
