In the book Thyroid Mind Power, Dr. Karilee Shames reports that the last 40 years have witnessed a massive increase in the amount of hormone-disrupting synthetic chemicals, finding their way into our air, food and water. The most sensitive and highly susceptible of human tissues turned out to be the thyroid gland. Getting behind our conscious thoughts and feelings can allow us to steer a more intelligent course through our lives (while knowing, of course, that we are ultimately being steered).

Dynamic Health: Using Your Own Beliefs, Thoughts and Memory To Create A Healthy Body. Health - or disease - is an effect, the offspring of our conscious choices in the six essential areas of life: what we eat, what we drink, how we rest, how we exercise, what we breathe, and the grandaddy of them all - what we think. As a practical matter, none of us is in complete control of our circumstances or enviornment. However, each of us, as conscious, thinking, rational adults, is in control of our interpretation of our life events. It gives you practical tips on how to revitalize your life in ways that can lead to greater health, happiness, and success. Health and disease are different degrees of the same thing.

Doctor Ted Morter IV teaches practical and immediately useful lessons using Body, Mind and Spirit. Subconscious Emotional Memory Override. Let me set the stage and cover a few important things about how your body works. 1. Your subconscious brain is in control of running your body. You don't have to think about digesting food or growing fingernails. It is controlled by parts of your brain we refer to as subconscious. It's widely acknowledged that a healthy body equals a healthy mind, said Dr Dregan. However, not everyone is willing or able to take part in the recommended 150 minutes of physical activity per week. Both originate from the same thing - physiological responses to stimuli. With predominately appropriate stimuli, you rest comfortably on the health side of the continuum. When most of the stimuli that spark physiological responses are inappropriate, you develop what we call "disease." By understanding that health and disease are effects of perfect internal responses, you will never again look at your physical condition as the luck of the draw.

As an educated person who is always striving for excellence, I cannot believe that I have never heard about pH balance diet and the associated ash concepts. This is the first life regime I have read that actually makes sense. Yes, there are many typos and the grammar is not the best - many times, I have to reread the sentence in context to better understand the concept - a strong editor would have made this an easier to read book. However, the content is vitally important to anyone who is concern about having an optimally running body.
