This biography provides detailed information about his childhood, profile, career and timeline. He had amassed a lot of experience during his life as a vagabond and all these experiences formed the basis of his book ‘The Road’. He enrolled at the ‘Oakland High School’ and in 1896, joined the ‘University of California’, Berkeley with a desire to pursue a literary career. That Woman - The Life of Wallis Simpson, Duchess of Windsor by Anne Sebba. Interesting but the writers style a little difficult to read with so many facts, dates, people. A bit like reading a textbook. Deconstructing Wallis Simpson: Anne Sebba’s That Woman. did not like this lady, but found it fascinating.
