I was replacing the one that I've had since I was a child (long long ago) and finally found one at a decent price! My lab had chewed up the old one so I could barely read any recipes and now I wanted my daughter to have a copy. It came in excellent condition. I only wish the seller had taken the $1 sticker off the cover so I didn't see the mark-up. It was still worth the $5.

This is my very first cookbook I received and actually cooked from for the first time. My original and personal copy is somewhere in my parent's attic and can't find it amongst all of our items up there. Now that I have daughters I wanted to share this book with them and decided to find a copy on here. When I received it, I admit, I got tears in my eyes. I was holding a piece of my childhood in my hands once again! It is MY treasure to pass on to my girls...even teaching my boys to cook too!

Me and Holly go back 30+ years and not only do I still use her recipes, but now so do my sons, my husband and my sister-in-law. A nice range of recipes, we almost always have ingredients on hand to make something from this classic.
